This would be a beneficial program for the funds but it is so lacking in a lot of regions that it is not usable for me. To start out with the manual is written in such broken English it leaves out needed steps, but can be figured out as you go.
My biggest complaint is with the entry/exist time delay and the secondary key pad. The main controller is basically a table top unit, so a thief could come in smash the unit in a quantity of seconds and that would be the end of your security. I wanted to hide the unit and use an further crucial pad to arm/disarm the unit situated near the entry. The problem with the secondary pad is, you can not tell if the technique is armed or not, no lights etc. If I open the door, I want to know by looking at the pad if the method was armed by my wife. Otherwise you are entering a 4 digit code, plus plus three every time you come by means of the door. Also the entry delay can be set according to the book from 00-30 minutes. Sadly that is exactly what it signifies, no settings for seconds. I like a technique that provides you about ten-15 seconds to disarm. The minimum on this unit is 1 minute. A burglar can do a lot of harm to many people and house in 1 minute ahead of the siren sounds. I do not want a burglar in the home that extended with no sounding the alarm.
The door contacts are massive and even have an antenna. A left hand door will have to have the antenna pointing down and a ideal handed door pointing up. This unit is top suited for an apartment or tiny residence. It appears to function effectively, just not pretty refined as for as systems go.
Also be conscious that this business gives $20 for a five star rating. That might be smart advertising, but does not sit well with me.
I spent time researching "unmonitored" alarm systems in order to save the monthly expense of monitoring. This product seemed to produce the most value for the revenue. I was a little apprehensive simply because of some evaluations that indicated the directions were challenging to follow. I found that the user manual was very clear and the installation only took about 2 hours. In addition to the V500 series I ordered a water sensor and the 360 degree motion sensor from the AASalarms.com web page. The 360 degree sensor was not pretty constructed and the water alarm did not contain activation directions. I have returned each of the add-ons for a refund.
Throughout installation and in the course of returning many items I referred to as the distributer five instances. Three instances they answered the phone and the other two I reached a voice recording. They were fairly responsive and returned my calls inside 24 hours. I would buy this item once again and would recommend it to others searching for a security program. The seller does present two no cost goods for ALL testimonials, not just those rated five star. I do not see their zero cost offer you as developing biased feedback. I will update this critique if I have any trouble getting my refund in a timely manner.
