I've had two Skylink Motion Sensors installed for about a month now and have only had 1 suspected false alarm. We set the alarm before leaving for Maine and about 15 minutes soon after we left our cell phones rang indicating a triggered alarm. Hmmm... Should have been a false alarm. We didn't hear a peep all week following that. Upon re-entering the residence when we returned a week later I was certain to listen cautiously in order to make certain that the alarm was still armed as we opened the door. Sure sufficient it was prepared to sound upon re-entry. Disarmed it employing the important fob and thus completed a effective very first test.
From what I can tell, these motion sensors are a marvelous choice in lieu of a bunch of door and window sensors that can be tricky to install, are unsightly, and call for battery changes.
